Page Numbers
Here is a formula to calculate the page number on which a juz begins (note, this formula applies to the standard Madinah Mushaf):
Juz number - 1 = A
A x 2 = B
Add 2 to the end of B
For example, Juz 9
9-1 = 8
8 x 2 = 16
Add 2 to the end of this result, so it will be 162
Juz 9 will begin on page 162
This rule does not apply in two places, namely:
The beginning of the seventh part is page 121, and the beginning of Part XI is page 201.
Another formula is:
Juz number x 20 = A
A - 18
Example Juz 9
9 x 20 = 180
180-18 = 162

9 x 20 = 180
180-18 = 162

Hizb Number
The formula to calculate the hizb number is:
To find out the Hizb, take the Hizb number you want to find the page for and subtract 1 and then add a 2 at the end, i.e. Hizb 29 would be 29-1=28, 28(2) = page 282.
Another example, Hizb 10 would be 10-1=9(2) = page 92.
To find out the Hizb, take the Hizb number you want to find the page for and subtract 1 and then add a 2 at the end, i.e. Hizb 29 would be 29-1=28, 28(2) = page 282.
