Tip for memorizing the Quran:
Listen to the surah you want to learn many times before attempting to memorize it.
Tip #2 for memorizing the Quran:
Try to read or listen to its tafseer to help you understand what you are reading. It's always easier to retain what we understand.
Tip #3 for memorizing the Quran:
Learn a few verses at a time. Memorize 1-3 verses (depending on their length) well then move on to the next set of few verses.
Tip #4 for memorizing the Quran:
Ask somebody to listen to you as you recite the memorized verses by heart. This will help you make sure you are accurate in your recitation.
Tip #5 for memorizing the Quran:
Recite the newly memorized verses during salah. This will make you more alert and attentive to salah and it will consolidate the newly learned verses in your memory.
Tip #6 for memorizing the Quran.
Keep on revising previously and newly learned verses in order to make sure the new doesn't replace the old in your memory.
