Duas

My Lord, increase me in knowledge. (Qur'aan 20:114)

My Lord, expand for me my breast [with assurance]
And ease for me my task
And untie the knot from my tongue
That they may understand my speech.
 (Qur'aan 20: 25-28)

Oh Allah! grant me the ability to reflect and ponder on, and to understand whatever my tongue reads from your Book (Qur’an); and to go into the depths of its meanings and to recognize its wonders; and to act according to it as long as I live. Indeed You have power over everything.

-Dua of Umar ibn Khattab

Beneficial Knowledge

O Allah, I seek refuge in Thee from the knowledge which does not benefit, from the heart that does not entertain the fear (of Allah), from the soul that does not feel contented and the supplication that is not responded.”
